Crazy for Snow!

We live on the West Coast, so we don't see a lot of snow in the winter and the first snowfall of the year is always so exciting! Lucky for me, I was able to capture the look of (crazy) excitement on my eldest daughter's face. It only takes a light dusting of the white stuff to get my kids excited!

I used the colours chosen for the Scrapbookin' Adventures newest challenge; robin's egg blue, hot pink, leaf green, navy blue and kraft. I also used the October 2013 sketch from Canadian Scrapbooker. It's one that I have had pinned for a while and am happy to have had a chance to use it!

The sketch:

My layout:

These bright colours are hard to photograph! I love how this turned out. The little touches of navy make me happy!

Imaginesce - Colourful Christmas collection
Pebbles - Sunnyside navy paper
Kraft paper
Doodlebug pink alphas
MME tiny type alphas
October Afternoon - enamel dots
Recollections - epoxy snowflakes
